Library overview
Library is the persistent home for project work you have chosen, created, adapted, or started.
Read the page from top to bottom
Section titled “Read the page from top to bottom”The recent Collections rail comes first. Collections are optional personal groupings: one can represent a unit, semester, course, planning window, or any other structure that helps you return to work.
The toolbar searches and narrows your Library. The five tabs answer different questions:
- All brings every Library project state together.
- Saved holds projects you bookmarked while discovering work.
- Drafts is the complete list of active Authoring work.
- Remixed shows adaptations you started from another published project.
- By you shows projects you authored.
The live number beside each tab reflects the reconciled project list, not raw database records.
Follow one project through Authoring
Section titled “Follow one project through Authoring”A project begins as a private Draft. Marking it Ready makes it available for your classroom but does not publish it publicly. Publishing makes it available to other teachers.
Library preserves one identity across those stages. A Ready or Published project replaces its linked Draft card; it does not appear beside a duplicate copy. Open Drafts when you need every active Authoring project. Use Create’s Pick up where you left off shelf only as a shortcut to recent work.
Discarded work leaves the active grid but remains recoverable for 30 days. When recoverable drafts exist, the count below the Drafts grid opens their dedicated recovery page. The draft-management article covers discard, Undo, restore, and permanent deletion.
Add your own organization layer
Section titled “Add your own organization layer”Select Manage all or open a Collection to reach the full organization workspace. Collections may contain saved projects, your own projects, remixes, and drafts. The same item may belong to more than one Collection.
Library does not automatically decide which grouping is best. Your Collections remain explicit, visible, and editable as your plan changes.
