Print an assignment for teachers or students
Print opens an audience chooser before a standalone preview. Choose the Teacher version when authorized teacher-only context belongs in the document; choose the Student handout for a deliberately narrowed student-safe projection.
Open the print chooser
Section titled “Open the print chooser”From any assignment state, select Actions → Print assignment. A Completed assignment can also offer Print the record.
Under Document version, choose:
- Teacher version for project context, rubric detail, authorized teacher notes, and completed results when available;
- Student handout for project directions, dates, milestones, and student-safe resources without private planning information or rubric weights.
Select the preview action. Rectangle opens a standalone page suitable for browser printing.
Review the Teacher version
Section titled “Review the Teacher version”Before selecting Print, review the entire document. A completed Teacher version can include Teacher notes, Final grades, and Standards demonstrated. Treat the preview as private when those sections are present.
Only independently authorized author-only project notes can appear; choosing Teacher version is not a way to bypass permissions.
Review the Student handout
Section titled “Review the Student handout”Confirm the driving question, Project Brief, dates, milestones, and Resources you can use. Resource links include a QR code and equivalent text pointer. Private files state that Rectangle sign-in is required.
The Student handout omits teacher-private notes, rubric weights, and completed-project results. It is a narrower document shape rather than the Teacher version with a few fields visually hidden.
Use Back to assignment to return without printing. Browser print settings control the final paper size, margins, and destination.
