Open and understand submitted work
Open a New work row when you are ready to understand one submitted milestone. Guide keeps the identity, assignment context, work, and possible next actions together.
Confirm the review context
Section titled “Confirm the review context”Before reading deeply, confirm:
- the student or team name;
- the assignment and milestone;
- the class;
- whether this is a first version or a returning version;
- when it was submitted and how that relates to the milestone close.
Timing is shown as a schedule fact, not a quality judgment. The actions at the bottom belong to the currently submitted version.
Recover the original request
Section titled “Recover the original request”Select What this milestone asked for when you need the original brief. The disclosure shows the teacher-facing milestone request and the expected deliverable pieces directly above the submitted work.
This is useful when a student note or artifact makes sense only in relation to the assignment. Close the disclosure when you want more vertical room.
Confirm a team’s submitted crew
Section titled “Confirm a team’s submitted crew”For team work, select See group members. Guide shows the group members associated with the submitted crew snapshot, so the review keeps the people who made that version attached to the work.
Do not infer membership from the team name or from the class’s current reusable groups. The disclosure is the authoritative context for the submission you are reading.
Move through the page
Section titled “Move through the page”Read the student’s or team’s note first, then each submitted piece and its attached note. Per-piece feedback belongs under the exact artifact. Rubric criteria appear below the work as vocabulary. Overall feedback and the approve, revision, and question paths appear at the decision point.
Guide is intentionally not a grading sheet. Scores and grade release live in Assess.
