Work through what needs you in Guide

Open Guide when you want to work across classes instead of checking one assignment at a time.

Open Guide from the main navigation. The map keeps new work, questions, quiet students or teams, and project context together; First up opens the oldest unhandled item. Select the image to enlarge it.
  1. Select Guide in the main navigation.
  2. Read the arrival summary on the right. It names the projects and activity that actually reached you.
  3. In First up, confirm the person, project, milestone, version when present, and time.
  4. Select Open to begin with the oldest unhandled item.
  5. Review the work, answer the question, or decide what to do with the quiet-work signal.

First up is a neutral starting point. It is not a risk score or a recommendation about which student matters most.

The map is always another way in. Choose any row in New work, Quick questions, Gone quiet · your call, or Your projects when another item is the better use of your attention.

Selecting a row changes the focused stage; it does not approve, answer, dismiss, or send anything. The quick-reply affordance on a question is the one map-level action that opens an editor in place.

After a successful approve, revision request, answer, or check-in, Guide removes or updates the handled item and prepares the next one. In the normal pace, you see a short next-item pause. Select the next hint or use Right Arrow or N to continue.

Quick Mode removes that pause and advances directly. It changes the pacing around the decision, never the decision itself.

Your position is not a permanent queue state. You can return to the map, choose another lane, or leave Guide at any time.
