Choose the fastest project path

Chapter 3 · Lesson 1

Choose the fastest project path

Use an existing Published project for the shortest route, or choose a remix or authoring path when the project needs to change.

For the shortest first success, open Find and choose an existing Published project that fits the class. You can use it as-is and learn the assignment workflow before taking on authoring.

Start with the Rectangle Pick or a shelf when you want strong ideas. Use search, subject, grade, and duration when you already know the need. The complete All projects grid remains available below those starting points.

Open a project whose driving question, grade range, subject, and duration are plausible for the class. The next lesson checks the complete design before you assign it.

Use a different path when the work calls for it:

  • remix a published project when the source is close but needs adaptation;
  • start from a Craft Pattern when you want an editor-reviewed structure;
  • start blank when you already know the shape you want to build.

You can learn Craft Patterns, blank authoring, and the full remix workflow later. They are not prerequisites for running a strong published project.

Find opens with one Rectangle Pick, useful project shelves, and the complete catalog. Search or filters move the page into a focused results state. Select the image to enlarge it.
