Reflect on a completed assignment

Use the Completed assignment’s retrospective to leave a private note for your future self about whether you would teach the project again, what worked, and what should change.

Scroll to How did this project go? near the work and reuse section, then select Reflect.

The portfolio is the proof of what teams built. Reflect privately on the run, then reuse the source through Remix or create a printable copy. Select the image to enlarge it.

The reflection belongs to this completed run. It is not student feedback, a grade, or a change to the reusable project.

Reflection is a private note for the teacher's future self. Choose a verdict and optionally note what worked and what to change before the assignment is archived. Select the image to enlarge it.
  1. Under Would you teach it again?, choose Absolutely, With changes, or Probably not.
  2. Optionally record What worked.
  3. Optionally record What you’d change.
  4. Select Save reflection.

The reflection is teacher-private. Use specific notes that will help you evaluate or remix the project later; students do not see it.

You can return and edit the reflection while the assignment remains Completed.

Archived assignments make the retrospective read-only with the rest of the assignment. Open the Retrospective chapter to read it.

Open only the archived section you need. The saved mastery distribution remains legible without returning the assignment to an editable state. Select the image to enlarge it.

Unarchive the assignment to return it to Completed before editing the reflection. Unarchive does not make the project Active or reopen student work.
