Review assignment standard matches

Review standards when launch readiness reports matches that still need a decision. Rectangle lets you confirm a native standard, defer the choice, or remove the assignment standard without changing the source project.

  1. Open the Draft assignment.
  2. On Overview, expand Launch readiness.
  3. Select Review standards.
Readiness separates launch blockers from review warnings and intentional deferrals. Fix the named blockers; standards can be reconciled before or after launch. Select the image to enlarge it.

Standards review is a warning, not a launch blocker. You can reconcile it before or after launch, but reviewing now makes the assignment’s standards record more useful later.

Confirm or search for the native standard you use, defer the decision with Skip for now, or remove the assignment standard. The source project is not changed. Select the image to enlarge it.

For each standard that needs review:

  • confirm the suggested native standard when it is the right match;
  • search when the suggested candidates do not fit;
  • select No close match when no candidate is accurate;
  • select Skip for now to defer the decision;
  • select Remove standard when the standard should not remain on this assignment.

Use the deferred-decisions control to return to skipped items. If the panel offers Undo after a decision, use it before leaving when the choice was accidental.

The confirmed result belongs to this assignment’s official standards. It does not rewrite the source project in Find or Library. Published mastery evidence follows milestone content standards; assignment-level standards are the fallback only while no milestone has standards. Rubric-criterion links describe the work but do not generate mastery evidence.

If a standards change affects a grade that is being privately edited, finish and republish that grade before trying the standards change again.

Return to Overview when you finish. Readiness should update to reflect the decisions you completed or intentionally deferred.
