Use Guide keyboard shortcuts and Quick Mode

Guide supports a keyboard-first rhythm, but every key preserves the same review and communication boundaries as the visible controls.

  • J or Down Arrow moves to the next visible map item.
  • K or Up Arrow moves to the previous visible map item.
  • Enter focuses the selected stage’s primary editor or control.
  • Right Arrow or N advances to the prefetched next item when that action is available.
  • S opens Studio when the selected work belongs to an eligible milestone set.
  • Escape closes the current overlay or returns toward the map.
  • A approves the current submission. Unlike the pointer path, the shortcut does not open the no-feedback gentle check first, so confirm the work and any feedback before pressing it.
  • R opens revision-feedback mode. It never sends a revision request by itself.
  • Command+Enter on macOS or Ctrl+Enter on Windows sends the action that belongs to the focused composer, such as an answer or question.
  • Shift+Q toggles Quick Mode.

Do not use X to resolve a question. Questions leave the lane only after a real answer succeeds.

Press Shift+Q to toggle Quick Mode. While enabled, completed actions advance directly to the next prefetched item instead of pausing at the next-item interstitial. Select the image to enlarge it.

Quick Mode changes what happens after a successful action. Instead of pausing at the next-item interstitial, Guide opens the next prefetched item directly. A short confirmation appears when the mode is enabled or disabled.

Quick Mode does not approve, answer, revise, or dismiss anything automatically. It only removes the pause between completed actions. Toggle it off with Shift+Q when you want the normal breathing room between items.
