Compare projects from Find
Compare is for the short list after browsing has already done its job. Pins are temporary decision markers, not saved projects.
Build the comparison set
Section titled “Build the comparison set”Select Pin for comparison at the top-left of a project card. After the first pin, the floating bar asks for one more project and keeps Compare disabled.
At two pins, the projects are labeled A and B and Compare 2 becomes available. Continue pinning up to five finalists if needed. Clear all removes the temporary set without changing Save or Collection membership.
Find and Library keep separate pin sets. Opening Compare clears the source surface’s pins; the current Compare URL keeps the selected projects available while you are on the comparison page.
Read two projects in full panels
Section titled “Read two projects in full panels”Two projects use parallel panels. Each panel includes duration, milestone count, standards alignment, milestone titles and descriptions, rubric criteria, and actions to Save, Assign, build a remix, or remove the project.
Standards are honest about certainty. Native matches and translated candidates remain distinct, and original-framework standards stay informational when Rectangle cannot translate them into the teacher’s home framework.
Read three to five projects as a table
Section titled “Read three to five projects as a table”Three to five projects use an accessible table with one column per project and rows for:
- standards;
- duration;
- milestones;
- rubric criteria;
- cross-disciplinary subjects.
Remove a column with the control in its heading. Save or Assign from the actions at the bottom. If an externally constructed link contains more than five IDs, Compare uses the first five and shows a warning instead of compressing an unreadable table.
