Improve a project's library readiness

The Publish tab shows both the structural quality checks for the project and the card other teachers will encounter in the library.

Review quality and the exact public preview before changing lifecycle state. Ready keeps the project private to classroom use; Publish makes the project available from the library. Select the image to enlarge it.

Rectangle checks whether the project has:

  1. a subject;
  2. a driving question;
  3. sequenced milestones;
  4. deliverables in each milestone;
  5. rubric criteria;
  6. observable rubric levels;
  7. mapped content standards;
  8. a library summary;
  9. a described authentic product; and
  10. a described authentic audience.

Select Keep editing and return to the relevant tab when a signal is missing. The signals describe whether another teacher can understand and use the project; they do not judge whether the topic or pedagogy is right for your students.

The larger card shows how the project will appear on its main library page. The compact card shows how it will read in browse and related-project contexts. Check the title, question, subject, grade, duration, summary, and visual fingerprint together.

A structurally complete project can be marked Ready for my classroom without entering the public library. Choose Publish to the library only when the discovery copy and full plan are useful to teachers beyond your own classes.

If Rectangle warns that a project may be suppressed from browse, strengthen the missing quality signals before relying on library discovery. A direct project URL and broad browse visibility are not the same guarantee.
